Barbaarse moord op Barbara (24) in Frankrijk – dader vluchtte naar Nederland

Op 10 december 2024 werd in Avignon (Frankrijk) het lichaam gevonden van de 24-jarige Barbara. Ze lag in haar eigen studio, naakt vanaf de taille omlaag, met zware verwondingen aan haar gezicht en een ontwrichte vinger. Ze is gewurgd en mishandeld.

De verdachte is Fouad Lazaar (34), een Marokkaan met een indrukwekkend strafblad van 17 eerdere veroordelingen in Frankrijk. Denk aan geweld, bedreigingen, ontvoering met foltering, wapenbezit en drugshandel. Hij was net vrijgekomen uit de gevangenis.

Direct na de moord vluchtte hij naar ONS LAND. Op eerste kerstdag (2024) werd hij in Amsterdam opgepakt voor winkeldiefstal. Pas toen bleek hij de gezochte Franse moordenaar te zijn.

Niet-westerse migranten zijn disproportioneel betrokken bij ernstige geweldsdelicten, en dankzij de open Europese binnengrenzen kunnen ze eenvoudig naar een ander land vluchten om te proberen vervolging te ontlopen en elders opnieuw te beginnen. Dit is een direct gevolg van het huidige migratiebeleid dat de veiligheid van Europese burgers ernstig in gevaar brengt.

If you were paying attention this isn't a shock, the signs were there. A few years ago we saw dangerous Sudanese men dumped into working class communities across Ireland, volatile men who clearly held a deep hatred for all Europeans.

We can't go back to normal after this, an Algerian man is currently on trial in Dublin for the attempted murder of three children, another African man is due to go on trial for attacking a 10 year old girl in Dublin last year, and now we have attempted beheadings in Belfast.

I refuse to accept this as a normal part of life.

With respect, tolerance is not the issue. Nobody tolerates a near beheading on a residential street in Belfast. The question your statement carefully avoids is prevention. And prevention requires honesty about a pattern your government has consistently refused to name.

A man in his thirties, a Somali national, pinned a man to the ground on a residential street and stabbed him repeatedly in the face and neck. Members of the public intervened with a hurling stick. A woman required hospital treatment for the stress of witnessing it. This happened in Northern Ireland, a place that has known more than its share of violence, and even there residents said they had never seen anything like it.

Your government has presided over record small boat crossings. It has failed to proscribe the IRGC despite repeated promises. It has blocked the grooming gang inquiry for a year before being forced to concede it. It has spent £10 billion on asylum accommodation contracts. It has actively resisted measures that would have reduced the number of unvetted individuals entering and remaining in this country.

The victims of these attacks are not statistics. They are British people, going about their lives on their own streets, who were failed before the attack happened. Failed at the border. Failed by a system that prioritises the rights of those who arrive illegally over the safety of those who were already here.

Your thoughts are with the victim. So are ours. The difference is that thoughts are not policy. Thoughts do not secure borders. Thoughts do not remove individuals with no right to be here. Thoughts do not protect the next victim, whose name we do not yet know, on a street we cannot yet identify, from an attack that has not yet happened.

14-year-old girl Tamar from the Dutch city of Marken was hit and killed by an Iraqi driver while she was walking on a road in July 2020.

Here is her mother telling Dutch media that the police lied to her and told her the suspect was a "German" because they did not want the case to support right-wing politician @geertwilderspvv.

The prosecution even dropped the case. For political reasons? The family will never know, but the Iraqi, Jamal T., is finally being brought to court and tried after her parents fought for years for his prosecution.

In fact, it was discovered that all four men in the car had an Iraqi background.

When she learned this information, she told Dutch media that the police responded that they had withheld the real background “because we didn’t want to create a Wilders-effect.” She described this as a “second blow” after losing her child, emphasizing that they should have been honest rather than offering “political excuses.”

The driver did not just flee the scene in Zeedijk, but evidence suggests that her body was moved at the scene of the accident. He claimed, however, that he never noticed hitting the girl, saying he thought he hit “something” but did not know it was a human. Nevertheless, Tamar was hit so hard by the impact that the coroner said she died instantly.

Despite driving away from the scene of the girl’s death, he was given only a €1,500 fine for looking at his phone while driving. However, he was not even delivered the fine, as he disappeared and the fine was “undeliverable” for years.

The family finally took matters into their own hands. They filed an Article 12 procedure, a legal mechanism allowing citizens to challenge a prosecutor’s refusal to take a case to trial. Now, finally, after six years, the 33-year-old Iraqi is being prosecuted for the fatal accident and fleeing the scene.

Police and prosecutors lied to the entire family for “political reasons” to hide the identity of the killer, according to the mother. Then, the family had to take matters into their own hands to force the case to trial.
