Here's a picture of what I came up with. The rustic interactive version, where you can click on a document and see its source at the @nlagovau, has also been updated and can be found at https://t.co/9sgqjNO2MW.
As a data scientist, am I the best statistician in my group?
Of course not.
But do I make damn sure the code I write is high quality?
No.
But do I work hard to understand the details of the application more deeply than anybody else on the team?
Also no.
@davidjxcarter@JamesBrown_Stat and I are always amazed at how you can transform those numbers into a fascinating story, and we are relieved that the lawyer didn’t bill us for the many hours he spent patiently explaining legal theory to the nerds.

@wragge The following website appears to list the public holidays across Australia. It should lend itself to scraping nicely, but I don’t know if it’s accurate 🤷♂️ https://t.co/h79vQ1bFld
I've shared 59 pandas tricks 🐼🤹♂️ so far. Would you like to see them all on one page?

@wragge Thanks Tim! There’s a weird issue with my notebook where Altair figures appear in duplicate, or even triplicate once they are rendered on NBViewer. I'm not sure what’s going on, but hopefully it’s not too distracting...
Well that was a wild ride. I'm still none the wiser about what topics make up The Advance Australia collection, but I know a lot more about snake-oil, so there's always that!
I just couldn't resist taking a peek. I meant to do a quick
analysis of the collection but then I got sidetracked by a word that kept
popping up: "Vitadatio". I'd never heard the name, and so off I went
down the rabbit hole...
The following blog post has some interesting background information, including a quote from Palmer's great grandson, and a picture of a (rare) bottle of the stuff.
