Alice, Namabvu HIV/Aids Support Group member:
"I got HIV in 2006, people discriminated me (e.g. denying me a job). I was about to commit suicide, but joined the group instead.
The group gives medical as well as emotional support and there is fewer discrimination now."
Macdonald, Namabvu Hiv/Aids Support Group chairman:
"Even familes have disputes, as a chairman, I keep the group cohesive by mediating when necessary. I wish for my members to be empowered instead of discriminated and to be able to forget about their HIV status for a while."
