@_TruckDog_ These two were total heartbreakers. I'd been gone 3 years & everything indie had changed, plus the USPS went to hell. It was so sad that eventually I had a look-back Listening Party for "Tomorrow" and all my indie friends came like it was a re-release. Very nice of them to do!
@_TruckDog_ I also lost the desire for albums when CDs became so costly to mail. First Class totally sucks, and I had several CDs either lost or take weeks. Media Mail is better, but not cheap. Also, my listeners (at least) are not clamoring for CDs or vinyl. I really like albums on media!
A few years back I learned that there was a new plugin that made your pristine digital tracks sound like a cassette. I got excited and planned a rock opera about an artist whose music gets stolen & claimed by someone else, with lots of cassette examples. Now, everyone uses those!
My wife sent this because I asked Chat if there were any police photos of Sylvia Plath in the oven where she died. It hemmed and hawed, and said "maybe." I said: "But they immediately pulled her out & tried to resuscitate!" Chat said: "Good job, Dino! You solved the question!"
