I recently had a conversation about Kesiena Esiri and his style of preaching with a friend. Here is/are what I noticed;

Many people who only watch his clips on social media assume he exists solely to criticize other pastors and Christians, but that isn’t true. Most of what circulates online is driven by social media engagements and impressions, not by a balanced representation of his teachings. He is just a stern and firm preacher.

There is a level of your walk with God where spiritual laxity, sluggishness, and the endorsement of irregularities begins to irritate you. One clear trait of a grounded Christian is zero tolerance for what Scripture condemns directly or indirectly, regardless of how well it is packaged or explained.

If you listen to Kesiena Esiri speak about his own past, you can sense so much disgust and anger even though most of those actions were done out of ignorance. You may not like his tone or position as a man of God, but he is a sound teacher with zero tolerance for the gradual normalization of ungodliness crawling into the church.
