Bengal is defined by inclusivity, harmony, and togetherness. And that seems to have become a bitter pill for the Bangla-Birodhis to swallow. BJP and their B-teams are working with a calculated, ulterior motive to destabilise Bengal, stoke unrest ahead of the elections, and reap electoral benefit from the chaos they themselves unleash.
They want to poison minds, sow hatred, pit community against community, and paint Bengal as a lawless land. They are actively conspiring to impose President's Rule through the backdoor, so desperate are they to seize power by any means necessary. The people of Bengal will not allow this.
Today, at my janasabhas in Sagardighi, Suti, and Baisnabnagar, I was received with outstretched arms and open hearts. I have strongly called upon the people to exercise restraint, remain democratic in their conduct, refuse to be provoked, and above all, maintain peace. I say to the people with full conviction that we will let no harm befall you. With Babasaheb Ambedkar as our guiding light, we will continue to walk the path of the Constitution, uphold its values, and defend the rights and dignity of every citizen.
We will fight BJP's 'Divide and Rule' policy together, as one, and we will prevail. I call upon the people of these constituencies to cast their precious votes for our Maa-Mati-Manush candidates, Bayron Biswas, Emani Biswas, and Chandana Sarkar, and send a message that Bengal cannot be broken, bought, or bent.
Today, people of Salboni, Paschim Medinipur came together, from every lane and field, unstoppable and fearless. Their roar and resolve made it clear that Bengal belongs to its people, not to outside forces.
Every cheer, every slogan, every hand raised in unity is a declaration: attempts to intimidate or divide us will fail. The spirit of resistance is alive and ready to fight back.

Today, Honâble Chief Minister @MamataOfficial laid the foundation stone in the sacred space of âDurga Anganâ in New Town.
This will not just be a center of worship, but a space where spirituality, culture, and community come togetherđ
By what magic did the @ecisveep publish a draft voter list of 7 crore electors and, on the very same day, suddenly flag 1.36 crore voters with so called âlogical discrepanciesâ?
Without issuing any official notice, a list labelled as âlogical discrepanciesâ was casually floated through WhatsApp, creating confusion, panic, and fear among ordinary voters. Raising serious questions over this arbitrary and opaque process, Our National General Secretary Shri @abhishekaitc exposed the alarming manner in which the Election Commission is functioning.
A poor chicken patty seller is beaten, humiliated, and targeted for daring to exist outside BJPâs food fascism. This is where the partyâs politics has landed: policing plates, livelihoods, and identities with mob violence.
Consumed by a rabid hunger for power, @BJP4India has turned religion into a racket and hatred into an electoral strategy. Unable to understand Bengalâs history, culture, or conscience, it knows only one method of control: divide, intimidate, and dominate.
Bengalâs soil, however, is built on coexistence, not coercion. Here, faith has always lived alongside freedom, never under threat. And it is precisely this Bengal that the Bangla-birodhi zamindars of the BJP despise.
This is not their land to dominate.
This is not their culture to hijack.
This is Bengal and Bengal will resist.
Starting 2nd January, 2026, for the next one month, Shri @abhishekaitc will be personally on the ground among the people, ensuring every concern is heard and addressed. He will stand as a shield ensuring that no rightful voter is disenfranchised, no voice is silenced, and no citizen is left to confront the coercion and humiliation of BJP and ECI alone.
The unbroken tradition of Bengalâs resistance finds its voice in #AbarJitbeBangla, a bold reaffirmation of Bengalâs history of pushing back exploitation, falsehood, and intimidation. This time, it is not merely about resisting injustice, it is about delivering a final democratic verdict.
The people of Bengal are prepared not only to defeat BJP at the ballot box, but to reject and bury its politics of division, deprivation, and disrespect. Abar Jitbe Bangla is the call of ten crore hearts, echoing the spirit of Maa-Mati-Manush; a fearless declaration that Bengal will rise, reclaim its dignity, and win again.
Jotoi Koro Hamla,
Abar Jitbe Bangla
Jotoi Koro Hamla,
ABAR JITBE BANGLA!
A call that binds 10 crore people into one voice, declaring that Bengal bows to no bully, kneels to no intimidation, and surrenders to no humiliation.
Let us unite under one banner, under the leadership of Smt. @MamataOfficial and Shri @abhishekaitc, to take a solemn pledge that 2026 will mark BJPâs democratic uprooting from our beloved land.
Bengal will triumph. Bengal will prevail.
#AbarJitbeBangla
Since the humiliating defeat in 2021, @BJP4India has pursued a single objective to suppress Bengal through any means necessary. That is why Bengal has endured a sequence of calculated, relentless assaults:
â The Centre collected over âš6.5 lakh crore in taxes from Bengal, yet blocked Bengalâs rightful dues amounting to âš1.96 lakh crore.
â BJP has bulldozed Bengalâs cultural heritage, insulting our icons and luminaries.
â We have now reached a point where merely speaking Bangla puts Bengalis in the crosshairs through detention camps, illegal deportations, and mob violence.
â Their latest instrument of exclusion is SIR, a politically engineered attempt to strip legitimate Bengalis of their voting rights.
â They now pose an overt existential threat, declaring âBanchte Chai, BJP Tai,â implying that survival depends on surrender to BJP.
But Bengal has never bowed to injustice. Bengal led Indiaâs renaissance and showed the nation a way forward. It was this land that first raised the cry of âJai Hind.â It was here that Vande Mataram and Jana Gana Mana were born.
The same Bengal that once ignited Indiaâs freedom struggle now rises again, fearless, with a renewed democratic roar:
Jotoi Koro Hamla,
ABAR JITBE BANGLA
#AbarJitbeBangla
From 2nd January 2026, Shri @abhishekaitc will take to the streets and stand among the people to ensure that no legitimate voter is disenfranchised, and no Bengali is humiliated, intimidated, or harassed by the BJPâECI combine.
Below is the full roadmap.
Jotoi Koro Hamla,
ABAR JITBE BANGLA.
#AbarJitbeBangla.
Being Bengali is not a crime. And yet, in states ruled by @BJP4India, it is treated like one.
Bengalis are profiled, detained, assaulted, and even killed for one unforgivable offence. Being Bengali. Our language is treated like contraband. Our names like evidence at a crime scene. Our identity like a permanent charge sheet.
But BJPâs bulldozer politics meets its match in Smt. @MamataOfficial. She draws an uncompromising line between Bengalis and a party that believes electoral victory grants it ownership over culture, language, and lives.
Let this record be written in ink the future cannot fade. Bengali language is not illegal. Bengali identity is not negotiable. And Bengalis will not crawl, plead, or apologise for existing. Not in 2021. Not now. Not ever.
Jotoi Koro Hamla,
ABAR JITBE BANGLA
A logo that captures the collective frustration of Bengalis against the Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars who have exploited, humiliated, intimidated, and persecuted the people of this land.
A picture may say a thousand words, but this one roars a single message:
Bengal will rise as one.
BJP will be shown the door.
And 2026 will mark the farewell they have earned, a democratic goodbye without mercy, without regret, without return.
#AbarJitbeBangla
Another innocent life lost under the terror of SIR!
Crushed under inhuman administrative pressure, unrealistic deadlines, and the constant fear of punishment for minor errors, Rinku Tarafdar, a BLO from Shasthitala in Nadia, was mentally broken. In this unbearable situation, she was forced to take the tragic step of ending her life.
The Election Commissionâs complex digital processes, impossible timelines, fear of punishment, and overnight surveillance are a form of mental torture imposed on our workers, and this is completely unacceptable.
While BLOs are losing their lives under this inhuman pressure, @BJP4India remains busy exploiting the situation for political gain.
This is the true face of BJPâs cruel, inhuman, and irresponsible politics.
Profoundly shocked to know of the death of yet another BLO, a lady para- teacher, who has committed suicide at Krishnanagar today . BLO of part number 201 of AC 82 Chapra, Smt Rinku Tarafdar, has blamed ECI in her suicide note ( copy is attached herewith) before committing suicide at her residence today.
How many more lives will be lost? How many more need to die for this SIR? How many more dead bodies shall we see for this process? This has become truly alarming now!!
Heartiest congratulations to Syndrela Das from South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, and Divyanshi Bhowmick!
Syndrela, a trainee of the Dhanuka Dhunseri Soumyadeep Poulomi Table Tennis Academy, Kolkata, along with her partner Divyanshi, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the World No. 1 rank in the Girlsâ Doubles (U-19) category of the World Table Tennis Rankings.
The Indian duo now leads the global standings with 3910 points, ahead of pairs from Chinese Taipei and France â a moment of immense pride for all of us.
Wishing them continued success and many more milestones in their sporting journey!
Faith, to me, has always been a source of quiet strength, a guiding light that nurtures courage in moments of doubt and compassion in times of hardship.
This year marks another blessed celebration of Kali Pujo at my residence, a tradition that has been part of my life for decades. Through every joy and sorrow, I have found solace and purpose in the boundless grace of Maa Kali.
Like every year, I observed the day in prayer and reflection, fasting and preparing bhog for Maa. As I bowed before Her, I sought Her blessings for the people of Bengal and for every household across our country, that peace, health, and happiness may prevail.
My heartfelt gratitude to all who joined in the celebrations and offered their love and wishes. May the eternal light of Maa Kali dispel darkness and fill every life with strength, harmony, and hope.
Shubho Kali Pujo to all.
âNatural calamities are beyond our control, but we have repeatedly stated that the current situation has arisen due to the release of water from Bhutan. We have long been demanding the formation of an Indo-Bhutan River Commission, with Bengal included as a member. Owing to our consistent efforts, a meeting has been scheduled for the 16th. We will be sending one of our officers to attend it. However, it must be remembered that the responsibility for providing compensation for the damages lies with them (the Centre).â
