ข่าวดีสำหรับผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางไทย! คณะกรรมาธิการยุโรป @EU_Commission อนุมัติมาตรการ Visa Cascade สำหรับประเทศไทย ซึ่งจะอำนวยความสะดวกให้ผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางไทยที่เคยได้รับและใช้วีซ่าเชงเกนอย่างถูกต้อง และมีประวัติการเดินทางที่ดี ให้มีสิทธิได้รับวีซ่าเชงเกนประเภทพำนักระยะสั้น แบบเข้าออกได้หลายครั้งที่มีอายุยาวขึ้นตามลำดับ (สูงสุด 5 ปี) ซึ่งสะท้อน��ึงความร่วมมือที่แน่นแฟ้นระหว่างไทยกับสหภาพยุโรป และจะช่วยส่งเสริมการเดินทาง การค้า การลงทุน การศึกษา และความสัมพันธ์ระดับประชาชน (8 พ.ค. 2569)

Yesterday, I joined the Special #ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on the situation in the Middle East, urgently convened by the Philippine Foreign Minister in her capacity as ASEAN Chair following my proposal.

The meeting provided an opportunity for ASEAN Foreign Ministers to exchange views on the evolving situation, its implications for our region, and possible short-term responses as well as longer-term preparedness for future crises.

Developments in the Middle East are generating global instability and uncertainty across many dimensions. I emphasised the need for ASEAN to reiterate the call for de-escalation, diplomacy, and dialogue towards a peaceful solution.

I also underscored the need to strengthen ASEAN consular cooperation to assist and protect our nationals in times of crisis, while enhancing the region’s energy preparedness by making practical use of existing ASEAN mechanisms.
