ମୁଁ ଜଣେ କୃଷି ବିଭାଗ ର ଛାତ୍ର ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ କୃଷି ଓ କୃଷକଙ୍କୁ ପାଖରୁ ଦେଖିଛି।
ଏହା ମୋ ଅନୁଭବ ଯେ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ କୃଷିର ଏମିତି ବହୁତ ଯୋଜନା ଅଛି ଯାହା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ପହଁଚି ପାରୁନାହିଁ, ଲୋକେ ଜାଣି ନାହାନ୍ତି ସେ ଯୋଜନାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଷୟରେ, ଚାଷୀ ଜାଣି ପାରୁନାହାନ୍ତି କି ଧାନ ଚାଷ ଠାରୁ ଅଣ ଧାନ ଚାଷ କଲେ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭବାନ ହୋଇପାରିବ।

It breaks my heart to see the condition of my alma mater, Sasan Alavar High School, Alavar, Balikuda, Jagatsinghpur.

Due to the retirement of nearly 90% of its teachers and support staff, the school is on the verge of becoming teacher-less.

Elections of the five states pose many questions and put a question mark on the manner in which these elections were conducted, especially in #WestBengal. Nothing short of a miracle could have ensured AITMC coming back to power. Many new practices unheard of, were introduced by the Election Commission including a direct warning to TMC. Sadly, the courts chose to be on the sideline and silently endorsed the snatching away the rights of 27 lakh voters from their basic right to vote.

Similarly, in #Assam the ruling party is just ‘gerrymandered’ to ensure victory.

The credibility of crucial democratic institutions right from Enforcing Agencies, Election Commission, Delimitation Commission and finally Courts are at stake. This is not a good sign for the future of democracy in India.
