Today the Tower of London welcomed the @VCCcadets for the historic Ceremony of the Constable’s Dues.

It's the first time cadets have conducted this ceremony so the Volunteer Cadet Corps have made history during their 125th anniversary year.

It’s great to be back in Melbourne, with a couple of days at work and then a few days exploring the city, the Great Ocean Road and other sights around the city and surrounding areas. Loving the view from my apartment and the city vibe here but it’s off to Sydney tomorrow. 🇦🇺 🐨

A privilege to attend the @StephenPerse Senior & Sixth Form carol service at @GreatStMarys in Cambridge today. As well as an enjoyable festive occasion it was a delight to witness the remarkable talents of three choirs, echoing effortlessly but charmingly around the church. 🎄

Back up to London today for some PFM Awards judging. Reflecting over a cappuccino (from the marvellous station buffet) on the peace of a country railway station at one end and the vibe of the big smoke at the other. Rather glad I no longer have to do this five days a week!

@GUNNERDAN94 Appreciate this is high level but appears to be very Army and RAF centric. Support to CFAVs essential to grow cadet numbers (eg: additional paid time off work). Needs a joined-up tri-service strategy and admin efficiencies. Will this finally lead to a HMS Bristol replacement?

Absolutely superb to grab a wet (brew) with my good mate @HQC_East_RTO whilst I was up in Notts/Leic way on business. It was a good chance to pull up a sandbag/swing the lamp, but moreover congratulate him on his very well deserved MBE a few weeks ago. Top bloke!
