Work of Desilting the drainage pipeline is in progress. Pay and use toilet at new concourse hall has been temporarily closed. Will be opened by 16:00 hours. Inconvenience caused is regretted.

Indian Railways extends helping hand in the hour of need ! On 08.10.19, 159th (last rake) water special rake was run from Jolarpettai to Chennai. These trains brought around 440 million litres of water and thus fulfilling the requirement of Chennai city during the time of crisis

@pradeesh1977 @MAS_138 You may pl use the subway at Parktown. As you exit the subway there is a pathway that connects to the subway made by chennai Metro and it directly leads to Chennai Central. More exit points towards Dr.MGR central from this subway are expected to be opened shortly. @cmrlofficial

Day 5. #SwachhataHiSeva #SwachhataPakhwada Our station has solar panel installed on its platform shelters and open terrace covering an area of 15148 Sq.m for a capacity of 600 Kwh. Avg daily units generated- 2400 units with a daily savings of Rs 10k. 100% working ensured today.

Day 5. To create awareness against use of plastic bags we distributed cloth bags to passengers who carried Plastic bags. The collected plastic bags will be segregated along with our plastic waste while disposing. #UseClothBag #SayNoToPlastic #SavePlanetEarth @DrmChennai

Day 5. #SwachhataHiSeva @SwachhtaPakhwara We deal with 1.5 lakh passengers a day. Now we have taken the challenge of keeping the platforms 1,10&11 completely #litterFree and #zerowaste for the entire day. Our dedicated team will watch these platforms with a hawk eye. @DrmChennai
