Donald Trump keeps repeating the lie that other countries are paying U.S. tariffs. It’s not just wrong. It’s deliberately misleading.

Here’s the reality:

🔹 Every single cent of tariff revenue is paid by American companies that import goods.
🔹 Those costs are then passed directly to American consumers through higher prices.
🔹 Not a single dollar of tariff revenue comes from China, Mexico, or any foreign country.

So when you hear Trump brag about “billions in tariff revenue,” understand what that really means:
👉 It’s money coming out of your pocket.
👉 You’re the one funding it, not China, not Mexico, not Canada.

No wonder so many Americans support tariffs. They’ve been misled into thinking someone else is picking up the bill!
