@PM_ViktorOrban Mr Orbàn Viktor, wash your own dirty laundry. Your country is because of you by far the most corrupt Member State of the European Union (see Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2024 on https://t.co/A3dDdzUKKi)

🇪🇺 The EU is drowning in corruption. Commissioners face serious charges, the Commission and the Parliament are engulfed in scandal, yet Brussels still claims the moral high ground. Corruption in Ukraine should be called out by the EU, but once again it's the same old story: Brussels and Kyiv shielding each other instead of confronting the truth.
Excellent and correct analysis, except that Europe isn't to blame, but the lack of Europe. It's the Member States, who hold the decision-making power, that are failing to unanimously translate their actions into deeds, not just words, to support Ukraine unconditionally.
PM @Bart_DeWever is right.
We recognise Ukraine's urgent and legitimate short-term financing needs.
We must & will remain a loyal ally in providing support, including military.
But it is not fair to expect Belgian taxpayers to bear huge financial risks that EU refuses to back!

Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in history—when core democratic principles seem to be continuously under attack, when too many people around the world have become cynical and disengaged—now is precisely the time to ask ourselves tough questions about how we can build our democracies and make them work in meaningful and practical ways for ordinary people.
@dvorahfr@elonmusk On the Kardashev scale measuring galactic civilisation, the Earth is at the lowest level of civilisation, not even capable to access and appropriately use all energy available on the planet. So let’s start with that including our nearest neighbour, the Moon.

The question is no longer whether a human will go to Mars but WHEN a human will go to Mars?
How long do you think it will take until we have a human on Mars?
Herman Brusselmans vrijgesproken.
For years, Putin has been wanting to (1) overthrow Zelenskyy, (2) get the US to withdraw from NATO and Europe, (3) annex bugs chunk of UkrIne and turn the remainder not annexed into a vassal state. Trump is now helping him to achieve all of these objectives. Shocking.
Trump and Vance have declared themselves to be on Russia's side in the Russo-Ukraine war. This is a catastrophic mistake for America's national security. And let's be clear: Trump and Vance now personally own that policy. It is not the view of a majority of Americans of either or no political party.
There is an aggressor: Russia.
There is a victim: Ukraine.
We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so.
By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others.
Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginning—because they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.
