We are not in a “capex bubble.”

Ok now things are getting really ridiculous for $PYPL from a pure numbers pov.

Management expects ~$6B FCF fy26 and are deploying $6B share purchases.

Basically all of FCF.

Current share price is $41.70. Market cap 36.5B.

If they bought back at current price, that’s a WHOPPING ~1/6 shares outstanding (16.5%).

We assume earnings and everything literally stays the same.

Last year had 882M shares, $5.34 EPS.

After full buybacks, we get 736M shares…

and $6.39 EPS.

+19.7% increase in EPS. In one year.

With no earnings growth.

Insane.
