Today, we're bringing 2022 to an end with an excellent example of the power of disability arts from disabled musician @Molly_Joyce - I really recommend reading more about what she has to offer via this interview

Although so many people shouldn't miss one excellent exhibition, here's an update about how The Disability Issue is due to spend more time discussing interesting disability arts over the next few months.

I needed the read @amiemariamarie - and believe many other people do too! It tells the story of how disabled people are under-funded in the UK, and dodged by people giving PIP assessments #disabilityarts#DisabilityRights
Head to the blog to find out why I'll be spending more time heading down Oxford Road in Manchester, what I've been up to since my last post, and what sort of work I'm looking to do in the future too.

🧵We already have a #BillofRights: our #HumanRightsAct (explained by Prof Klug).
The Govt’s new Bill is actually a #RightsRemovalBill. It doesn’t introduce new rights; it makes it harder for us to access the ones we have.
Here's some key issues to write to your MP about⤵
There's finally a new blog post update to read on our website - I've been so busy. I've been involved in many disability-related activities, have project ideas in mind, and wanted to mention more about my long-term plans in this post as well.

The Unfolding is number one in the UK's Classical Album chart 🤯
Congratulations @HanPeel, @CharlieHazlewoo and all of our amazing musicians and our huge, unreserved thanks to everyone who has supported the album so far!

Gosh, 6 months and this has been in the world. It seems ever more relevant. #HenNight written, directed and produced by me, performed by Nicola Chegwin and inspired by @DrFrancesRyan's book #Crippled. Proud of what we made. Still on BBC iPlayer.
I couldn't agree more! People should move away from the negative antics occurring at the #Oscars - #CODA deserves to receive more congrats than anyone right now. This is a positive move for disability arts.
#CODA 's win for Best Picture at the Oscars has been a vital step towards better inclusion for the deaf community in mainstream entertainment. It has shown the value of #DeafCreativity and the opportunities that come out of embracing the #DeafPerspective! 🎉
The upsurge in Covid across the UK demonstrates the continued need for caution. I was only able to participate in this week's #EEBAFTAs due to stringent testing for all attendees. Live event organisers must factor in appropriate access & social distancing for disabled/CEV people
