More from day 2 of our #DisabLed4Dorian deployment to the #Bahamas illustrates a huge part of our on-the-ground work: We connect and coordinate with other organizations to identify and address needs of disabled disaster survivors.
Each one of these 8 pallets contains supplies that are critical to the well-being and independence of #HurricaneDorian disabled survivors.
Thank you to our partners, @TrachMommas for collecting all the supplies and @tritonrelief for transporting them to the #Bahamas!
These supplies will be packed onto 8 pallets and driven from #Louisiana to #Florida via a @tritonrelief volunteer. A triton volunteer pilot will fly these pallets to the #Bahamas, where @glparodi & @shayzalis will distribute the supplies to the individuals who requested them.
