Making an (as of yet unnamed) starfighter game set in the far future of 1977; emphasizing speed, maneuverability, and destruction over simulator physics.
@bkp_sgng@Publix I've been going to the same two grocery stores for like the last five years since I moved and one day it's just fucking GREY. I'll go back to shopping at Walmart if it's gonna look like this
@Publix THIS is why I stopped shopping at Publix, and It wasn't the exorbitant pricing. You used to have color, and style, and charm, and I'd gladly pay the extra money for the brief illusion that I don't actually live in a dystopian hellscape.
@j_fishback You've already got my vote, but can you "encourage" Publix to go back to their groovy 1950s fonts/styling instead of this fucking soulless grey/brushed silver bullshit they fill their stores with now? I've seen black and white films with more color than these places.
@Will_Panic@CARandDRIVER How is it that way back when they could sell two door and four door versions of the same car and yet now there's not a single manufacturer doing that?
@JPoliticalChess@rspctablmoderat@UtahFlatRanger No

Once a week, if that

I drive a 50 year old car, wife drives a 15 year old car
Am I *qualified* to agree with the other guy that our entire economy is FUCKED?
@TheAlienPrinx@TwinOfTiger Regulations have made cars more expensive as well. Safety, electronics, emissions, etc. Even without CAFE standards being enforced, auto makers can't be sure they won't get fired right back up the second a dem is back in office.
@Boss351Pilot I feel like there's a venn diagram of "people with $200,000 to spend on a car" and "people that would settle for a foxbody" and it's just two circles with no overlap
@Slonk01 THANK YOU, fuck sake,people forget this game came out where "walking" was at the speed of a hearty jaunt, nevermind the coke fueled bouncing off walls that was Quake
