Paul is the creation of the Catholic early church fathers against the Gnostic and Marcionite communities of the empire.The epistoles of Paul are basically a copy-paste of the epistoles of Marcion.They created a figure to make their own New Testament more appealing to the Roman audience in contradiction to the strong Gnostic and Marcionite population of the Century.The funny thing is that the canonical gospels of the New Testament have a lot of Gnostic influence and shift…that it shows that the authors had some Gnostic background or at least they have been influenced from Gnosticism.

The biblical establishment will do anything to prove that the New Testament had been written in the first century to make it look closer with Jesus appearance.The critical scholarly is right that the NT was written in the second century with epistoles of Marcion/Paul coming first and the gospels coming even to late second(2) century while the gospel of John was probably written in the early third(3) century.Btw,since then a lot of additions took place from the early church fathers re-writing stuff to fit their agenda for political and social issues of the period.
