Tonight, Jews around the world will retell the Exodus story of a people driven from their homes, walking toward an uncertain future.
But that story never stopped.
Expelled by dictators, forced out by antisemitism and violence, Jewish men and women across the 20th century went on to reshape science, art, technology, and ideas.
Not despite their expulsion, but because of it.
Exile didn’t diminish Jewish achievement. It amplified it.
Share their stories.

Israeli singer @YuvalRaphael_IL will take the stage at Eurovision, which kicks off today. A survivor of the Nova Music Festival massacre on October 7th, Yuval went on to win Israel’s Eurovision competition earlier this year. "I’m coming to Eurovision to sing for all the angels who can’t be here. I survived, I have to make the most out of my life, to honor them." Already facing anti-Israel and antisemitic harassment at Eurovision, we are in awe of Yuval’s strength and bravery. #Eurovision2025

The 2025 Genesis Prize was awarded to Argentinian President @JMilei for his unequivocal support of Israel and his extraordinary achievements in reforming Argentina’s economy, which leaders around the world are noting. Last week, the IMF agreed to a landmark deal for a $20 billion loan to support Argentina’s free market overhaul. And yesterday, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury @SecScottBessent traveled to Argentina to congratulate #Milei on his economic successes and reaffirm the United States’ trust that he will continue to advance Argentina’s economy.
2025 Genesis Prize Laureate Argentinian President @JMilei has promised to bring to justice the perpetrators of 1992 and 1994 terrorist bombings against Jewish targets in Argentina. Today, in a dramatic departure from his predecessors, Argentinian prosecutor Sebastian Basso requested that a federal court issue an arrest warrant against Iran’s Supreme Leader, #AliKhamenei for his direct involvement in the AMIA Jewish community center bombing in Buenos Aires in 1994. According to Basso, Khamenei "led the decision to carry out a bomb attack in Buenos Aires in July 1994 and issued executive order (fatwa) 39 to carry it out."
Former Arkansas @GovMikeHuckabee has just been confirmed by the Senate as the new U.S. Ambassador to #Israel. Nominated by President Trump, Huckabee is a Baptist minister and strong supporter of Israel. He called the October 7 attack a "massacre," saying, "Hamas is not a government, it’s not a standing army; it is a terrorist organization and they acted like it, and they must be treated as such."

Congratulations to 2025 Genesis Prize Laureate Argentinian President @JMilei, who just received news that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reached a preliminary deal to provide Argentina with $20 billion in financing to help with the country’s free market overhaul. The IMF noted Milei’s impressive progress in stabilizing the Argentinian economy and dramatically reducing #inflation. The IMF Executive Board will vote on the arrangement in the coming days.
While the media has focused on the newly-elected mayor of Beverly Hills, Dr. Sharona Nazarian’s (@sharona4bh) being America’s first Jewish Iranian-American mayor, few have written about her impressive commitment to social causes and philanthropy. For the past 20 years, Mayor Nazarian has worked tirelessly on combatting bullying, homelessness, and drug and alcohol abuse, while at the same time trying to unify the many faith-based organizations in her city. She chaired the Los Angeles Commission for Alcohol and Other Drugs and the Beverly Hills Human Relations Commission and served as a Beverly Hills Public Works Commissioner and Los Angeles County Commissioner.
As a young child, Mayor Nazarian came to America with her parents to escape religious persecution at the outset of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, when about 30,000 Jews fled Iran. Her commitment to the Jewish community remains strong, serving as National Vice President of Friends of Israeli Disabled Veterans, a Board Member of Sinai Temple, and a member of several committees for the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles.
We wish Mayor Nazarian success and look forward to working with her on philanthropic initiatives being developed by her excellent team.
