@disneyglimpses I’m sure the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District has something to do with it also. Less red tape to repurpose existing park land than to annex and develop additional land.

@JayRembert2 @DisneyPlus @SpiderMan They can’t do that. Sony has a contract with Marvel Studios to keep the movie rights as long as they keep making movies. Sony would have to agree to end that contract, and since Spider-Man is one of their most lucrative franchises, they’re probably not willing to do that yet.
