Lot of people on the TL saying “oh he isn’t gonna do it” cause he was POTUS before. That is very uninformed thinking. The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 plan recommends using the Insurrection Act of 1807 to put people into detention camps. That’ll no doubt include migrants.

a dynamic that probably doesn't get discussed enough is that the media broadly takes for granted that Trump is malevolent & erratic, so when he is those things it's not treated as news. Biden meanwhile is assumed to be competent, so any gaffe or misstep is covered as a big deal.

And their Governor Tate Reeves, has announced that he won’t participate in a federal summer food program for children.
You see, he doesn’t want the state with the highest poverty rate and the most hunger in the country to turn into a “welfare state.”
