🧵 THREAD (1/16): Call of Duty hasn’t evolved — just monetized.
Every year: recycled assets, 4–6 hr campaigns, rigged matchmaking, overpriced skins.
It’s not burnout — it’s betrayal.
This thread breaks down why the community is done being ignored.

@Splitgate Appreciate the update. I’ve been working on a feature idea that fits your goals:
Portal Signature, unlock portal FX through creative play: trick shots, flanks, long kills.
Earn frames, core anims, glow, trails, and sounds.
Gameplay-based. A visual mark of your style.
3/16: Bo6 had a 4-year dev cycle (2020–24) but still launched with a 4–6 h campaign, recycled assets & game-breaking bugs. Treyarch’s focus was split—BO7 was greenlit before BO6 even shipped. Result? A half-finished experience with zero long-term support. #FixCallOfDuty

Players aren’t asking for miracles.
We ask you to finish your released game before promoting the next one.
Fix cheating. Patch bugs. Support Ranked.
Respect the people still playing BO6—they’re your foundation, not your afterthought.
And not everyone crossed the border illegally.
Many came here legally — on visas, student permits, or work programs — and became undocumented later because of backlogs, expired paperwork, or denied renewals.
That’s not criminal. That’s a system that sets people up to fall through the cracks.
I get that immigration sparks strong opinions, especially after protests like the one in LA. But Lacy’s right — this deserves a more honest and thoughtful conversation.
Yes, crossing the border can be illegal. But people rarely stop to ask why it happens, what the law actually says, or who we choose to forgive.
First-time illegal entry into the U.S. is usually a misdemeanor, not a felony.
It’s still a crime, but a low-level one — closer to trespassing than anything violent.
Yet people use that label to treat undocumented immigrants like they’re dangerous by default.
