'if CT were a talking person' - anon
(smoof/brain)
a stock only matters if i own it
if i don’t, then it is a piece of shit, irrelevant, it is only momentum driven, price has overshot fundamentals, and management has no clue what they’re doing, etc etc
hyperliquid pricing only matters when the PA favors my positioning
if it's against, then hyperliquid is hyperilliquid, countersignal, for MMs to trap retail, etc etc
Happy 1st Birthday @anchor_protocol! In your first year, you've become the first breakthrough use case for @terra_money. Institutions are wondering whether you're 20% is sustainable, so for the TradFi guys standing at the back, let's run it back turbo:

Maybe $BIO is a good punt ahead of $HIMS earnings release on May 11, 2026?
Feels like price action pretty similar.. and BIO is the only obvious peptide beta in crypto?

man i know defi is not fully over but it feels over and not in the normal bear market kind of apathy and zero vol dead chart kind of way in the "idk maybe atomic composability of arbitrary financial instruments secured by 1 of 1's was a mistake" kind of way
or maybe in the "what was the point of all this?" kind of way
in the like, man we (well, i mean who am i kidding, you, not me, i just spent a lot of time writing about it) spent a lot of time and years thinking about trust assumptions and message passing and building and auditing and--
for what exactly?
like we're really going to rehypothecate security (which isn't free...it just fattens tail risks) and then wrap it into an LRT and then collateralize that?
and bridge it over somewhere attested by a 1 of 1 DVN so someone can put a slightly higher APY somewhere on a landing page? how is that making anything better?
it's tragic. it's very hard (emotionally) to confront the reality that a massive amount of capital--human and dollars--was inefficiently allocated to highly overintellectualized sources of leverage obfuscated with extra steps
and like who knows maybe this marks a "generational bottom" (see even the language is like, atrociously out of fashion now, we're really going to still talk like that?)
but the risk-reward on defi hypercomplication has been revealed for years to be way out of whack in the wrong direction
it really was about the friends we made along the way
