@Yuming0505@MogTalkTweets@FrostyMog by "bad" decision, it was the one that made the most people unhappy. I assure you any other decision would have made some people unhappy (no recognition, would people be mad that they ignored that jp was first?) The news was unexpected for them too you know
@Yuming0505@MogTalkTweets@FrostyMog Perhaps they have to have to have strict rules even if some are people are unhappy about the rules. They were forced to make a decision on the spot, with a non participating team claiming to follow mogtalks rules to be recognized. Unfortunately they made a bad decision
@cytusgee@natus_ffxiv Rather than child-like behavior, people here would call it animal-like behavior, not even human. Human adults u se their words don't they? Sometimes we may not do it clearly and carefully, but it's important to try to understand each other if we want to act like adults.
@cytusgee@natus_ffxiv I curse at people if they're being terrible human beings, not if people make an honest mistake. You talk about conducting as adults, but is it adult-like behavior to just curse at people without saying anything useful at all?
@cytusgee@natus_ffxiv They messed up. You can be upset. But cursing people as if they've done an absolute crime and the worst thing ever is really childish. You guys really aren't all that.
@cytusgee@natus_ffxiv There are people who are saying Mogtalk should never run world first race event again...Are they going to take up the responsibility then? Are they going to gather up 100k for charity as well?
To be honest, the reason why I kinda avoid chars that grin is coz I'm not too fond of my front teeth, but since Deep Blue is a rabbit, it actually made me feel like it was pretty suitable...? Not to toot my own horn but the rabbit teeth+canine tooth combo is sorta moe right...
@CalZoneXIV@LunjiMito yeah in the end none of this is official so its hard to tell whats the the "right" move
people are upset at presence of the team even on their site, though i guess part of it is their past history
@LunjiMito@CalZoneXIV on one hand, i understand the want for privacy and for teams to prioritize "winning"
but i also think that transparency and streaming is something mogtalk has to require from here on out to be even mentioned in the events, mostly to save themselves from this difficult situation
@rolanberrypie so because of this, the non stream, no announcement of any sort, come out on top without contributing anything to other teams, it feels a little unfair and unsportmanshiply, doesnt it?
@rolanberrypie i think the problem here might be is that streaming is of no real benifit to those streaming.
Especially if all the top teams are streaming, that mean the one in the lead is by nature shooting their chances because all other team benifit from their stream
@LunjiMito@CalZoneXIV in the end i think it might have been the timing of that team sending to mogtalk that was the real nail in things, them asking for recognition when they didnt participate in event in the first place is what i think is the real problem.
@LunjiMito@CalZoneXIV mog team was put in a hard position because they had to decide on the spot how to report. Unfortunately they made a decision that a lot of people were unhappy with but imagine if they didnt recognize at all, ppl would be pushing that jp won wf instead of na
no winning either way
