Former Baddies reality star Demi Blanco has been indicted for making a false 911 call leading to Young Scooter’s death.
Seventeen months after she was arrested for transmitting a false public alarm in connection with the 39-year-old rapper’s tragic passing, prosecutors indicted Blanco, born Demetria Spence, on the same count in late September.
Police say on March 28, 2025, Blanco made a 911 call claiming that gunshots were fired and a naked and bloody woman was being pushed out of a home on William Nye Drive in Atlanta. She also gave the dispatcher details about the house being used for drug distribution and prostitution.
When police arrived on the scene, Scooter, who was celebrating his 39th birthday that day, and another man fled out of a back door. The rapper was eventually located by police officers, suffering from a cut to his leg he sustained while jumping a fence. Scooter later succumbed to fatal blood loss. Blanco was arrested on April 1, 2025.
On the day she was arrested, Blanco came forward on social media and identified herself as the person who made the fateful 911 call. She insisted she did so to protect herself from being physically abused. Police found no evidence to support her claims.
