The D214 App Showcase at Hersey High School brought together students from nine high schools, including all six District 214 schools, Barrington, St. Viator, and Burlington Central.
Students presented 85 unique apps, from games and educational tools to creative real-world solutions. This year also included students from four middle schools, who attended to explore the projects and get inspired.
Top teams will present at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue this Friday!

Congratulations to Elk Grove High School automotive student Daniel Boyazliev on winning the BAT-man Scholarship, a $4,500 Snap-on tool cart and tool set to help jumpstart his career in the automotive industry.

Congratulations as well to Arthur Niewiardowski, Adrian Strugala, Carmelo Rodriguez, Mohammed Uddin and Ryan O’Malley, who each received $500 awards.
