District 65 is a public school district serving 7,500 pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students who live in Evanston and a small portion of Skokie.

Join D65 today in celebrating America Recycles Day (Nov. 15) and congratulating Chute student Zeynep B., winner of the City of Evanston and D65 Recycling Design Competition! After more than 400 votes were tallied, her winning design will be featured on a City recycling truck.♻️
To honor Veterans Day, Mr. Krueger and Mrs. Siebert's third-graders donated over 75 pounds of toiletries to Evanston Vet Center. They also decorated tissue boxes with messages telling veterans how brave they are. Thank you to all who have served, and way to go, Washington School!

District 65 School Board welcomes Mya Wilkins as its newest member. Mya sees improving equity in education as crucial and, as a parent, has been involved in groups focused on equity in the district. Ms. Wilkins’ term will run through the April 2023 election.
