For Levi (Luke 5), following Jesus started with a step away from his table and into a brand new adventure. What steps are you taking? (Even the small ones count!)
Small group time is our FAVORITE part of the week! As we pursue our relationship WITH Jesus, He also wants us to be in relationship with the people around us. Because life is better when we follow Jesus together!
Christmas Party is this Sunday! Wear your pjs, footies, and ugly Christmas sweaters because we’re celebrating like it’s Christmas morning!
Don’t forget, we’re collecting winter hats and gloves donations for the Neighborhood Center!
See you Sunday!
🚨10 minutes of prayer and meditation a day means you’re participating with God in shaping your brain for a lifetime of vibrant faith🚨. We knew it!! @markosbeard@Youthscape#NYMW19 🤯🤯
1. These days, major moments are hard to miss. In fact, most of us have pictures and videos to document . . . pretty much everything. And that’s great because, for a lot of us, seeing is believing. (Ever heard the phrase, “Pic or it didn’t happen”?)
2. But the author of this verse actually encourages us to take the opposite approach to life—to live by faith, not by sight! Why? Because our sight is LIMITED. We can only see what’s on the surface. In other words, it’s easy to believe only what we can see.
"Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'" (John 4:13-14) #ChallengeKC
