This is my breaking point. At least 8m Ukrainians died because of Hitler, at least 4m died because of Stalin, we have NO IDEA how many died because of putin since 2014.

It's difficult to gather my thoughts after what happened today in the Oval Office. Right after that, my city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, where I live, endured a relentless attack by russian drones. The assault dragged on for hours—explosions erupted dangerously close, their sounds terrifying.

Nine strikes hit us in total, tearing into a hospital filled with people, residential buildings, and roads.

When you've lived through this kind of terror for years, the last thing you want is for it to happen again. You don’t want to endure it anymore, and you certainly don’t want your children to face it. That’s why it’s so jarring to hear someone from across the ocean suggest we should simply lay down our arms and trust the aggressor to stop being aggressive.

We need guarantees—real and solid. It’s a very important question for us, and it should be for anyone with even a shred of empathy.

I’m deeply grateful for the support we’ve received so far, and I hold onto hope that either America or Europe will recognize the need for a just and lasting peace, one that can only be secured with unwavering, ironclad commitments.
