5-Minute Liquidity Sweep Setup 🧵
Go to the 5-minute timeframe and identify a clear liquidity level, usually a previous high or low.
Wait for price to sweep that liquidity and then look for a strong candle that closes back beyond the level, confirming the break.
For a bearish setup:
Price sweeps the previous high.
Price rejects the high.
A 5-minute candle closes below the key level.
Enter on the retracement/retest.
Stop loss above the liquidity sweep.
Target the next significant liquidity/low.
The key is not to enter just because liquidity was swept.
Wait for the 5-minute closing confirmation. That helps filter out false breakouts and gives the setup structure.
If you programmed a robot with one simple strategy:
Execute every valid break of structure and exit at 3R.
It would keep executing that strategy endlessly. Win or lose. No hesitation. No fear. No memory of the last loss, until you ask it to stop.
Give the exact same strategy to a human and everything changes.
•After 3 losses, he starts doubting the 4th setup.
•After missing a trade, he starts chasing the next one.
•After a big win, he suddenly feels invincible and increases risk.
The strategy hasn’t changed.
The human executing it has.
You may think trading is difficult.
But being human while trading is much more difficult.
Teaching What You Know (Online or Offline) as Income
Teaching is one of the most accessible ways to turn knowledge you already have into steady income. You do not need to be the top expert in the world. You only need to know more than the people you are teaching and be able to explain it clearly.
The knowledge can come from your job, a skill you have practised, or problems you have solved. Examples include teaching Excel for business, basic digital marketing, smartphone photography, CV and LinkedIn optimisation, freelancing skills, personal finance systems, or any practical tech tool you use well. Both online and offline formats work in Nigeria.
Online teaching often happens through Zoom classes, recorded courses, WhatsApp or Telegram communities, and live group sessions. Offline teaching includes small physical workshops, weekend classes, or one-on-one coaching. Many people combine both.
Income examples are realistic. A live group class with 15 participants paying N10,000 each brings N150,000 from one session. A short recorded course priced at N15,000 to N40,000 can generate N300,000 to N800,000 over time with consistent promotion. Ongoing coaching or weekly classes can produce N200,000 to N600,000 monthly once you have a regular group of students. Experienced teachers who build an audience sometimes exceed N1 million in good months.
A practical path starts with one clear topic. Package what you know into a simple curriculum with a beginning, middle and end. Teach it the first time at a lower price or even free to a small group in exchange for testimonials and feedback. Improve the material, record or refine it, then sell the next round at a proper price. Promote through Twitter, WhatsApp status, LinkedIn and personal networks.
Teaching rewards clarity and patience more than perfection. Students pay for practical results and clear guidance. Start with the knowledge you already use, organise it into a teachable format, deliver value, and collect proof. The same knowledge that feels ordinary to you is often valuable to someone else.
Dear you, between the ages of 21 and 29.
1. Open a mutual fund investment account.
2. Start making a monthly deposit of anywhere between 30,000 and 200,000 naira. Whatever you can afford consistently. In 10 to 15 years, you will be a multimillionaire.
3. Invest in books. Buy financial and investment books and actually read them. I recommend:
- The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach
- I Will Teach You to Be Rich by Ramit Sethi
- The Little Book of Common Sense Investing by John C. Bogle
- The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason
- Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
- The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
- The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley
- Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin
- Atomic Habits by James Clear
- Die With Zero by Bill Perkins
4. Exercise daily. Avoid sitting in one position for too long. Even if you work as a receptionist, stand up and stretch every 2 hours. Your health is your first investment.
5. One woman is enough for you. Avoid chasing multiple women. Womanizing is not a flex. It is a financial and emotional drain that will set you back years.
6. Take out at least 30% of your income every single month and put it to work. Invest in stocks. Invest in mutual funds. Invest in a business. Just invest.
7. Learn Cybersecurity. It is one of the highest paying and most in demand skills in the world right now.
8. Drink two glasses of warm water every morning before breakfast.
9. Wake up by 6am daily and try to be in bed by 10pm. Discipline in your sleep is discipline in your life.
10. This is the best time to start your investment journey. As you grow older, responsibilities will pile up and it becomes harder to set money aside. But if you build the discipline now, in 5 to 10 years you will already be addicted to investing and you will be glad you started when you did.
Your future self is watching every decision you make today. Make them count.
Above all, love God.
It's quite unfortunate that I knew you many years ago here, but you went on a long hiatus.
By the time you came back, this app has changed and almost everyone is now a creator and looking for money.
So threads as beautiful as yours get buried in the crowd.
I wish that wasn't the case.
Thank you for your beautiful and very mature write up.
I believe people will get to see the value you give daily, in due course.
Dear Husband,
A woman does not decide to be your wife and choose to be faithful because you are Mr. Perfect. She is faithful because she is a woman of character.
She chooses you every day because she honours her vows, even on the days you are difficult to love. She protects your home because that is the kind of woman she decided to become, it's not because you have never given her reasons to do otherwise.
But don't mistake her character for a reason to become careless.
Don't assume that because she is not the type to cheat, she no longer needs your affection and don't believe that because she stays, she no longer needs to be pursued.
A woman can remain loyal while slowly withdrawing her heart.
Nature does not tolerate empty spaces. If you stop investing in your marriage, she may not seek another man, as a lot of people are quick to think, but she will find somewhere else to pour herself. She may bury herself in work, lose herself in motherhood, devote herself to church or build a life where you are no longer at the centre of her joy.
One day, you may wake up to realise that she is still your wife, but no longer your closest companion.
Don't let it get that far. It doesn't have to.
Listen when she speaks, especially when her words make you uncomfortable. Notice the sacrifices she no longer mentions. Thank her for the things that have become so normal you barely see them anymore.
Hold her hand for no reason. Laugh with her. Pray with her. Date her long after the wedding. Make memories she will still smile about twenty years from now.
Become the safest place she knows.
A loyal wife is one of God's greatest gifts to a man, but even the strongest marriages do not thrive on loyalty alone.
Strong marriages thrive on intentional love, mutual honour, daily kindness and the decision to keep choosing each other every single day.
Meet her loyalty with your own.
Meet her commitment with presence.
Meet her love with firm leadership that serves, not one that controls.
Do that consistently, and your marriage will become a place where two imperfect people make each other feel secure in a world that offers very little certainty.
Something many people spend a lifetime searching for.
Have an amazing Sunday.
Let me remind you again, don’t let this motivate you to start trading ooh because you will cry 😭 a lot but in the end you’ll celebrate, that’s only if you didn’t give up ooh.
