@GWSTREAMS@Wario64 No - I compared similar editions. Also $9.99 is cheaper than any of the prices you laid out. If I had $12 today, could I afford the digital version of the game? No. I’m assuming we both could afford it, but there are many out there that love the hobby but can’t. Do better.
@GWSTREAMS@Wario64 Where’s the lie? I’m talking same edition in comparison with the original post. Also - $27.49 is more than $9.99 (regardless of all the dlc/cosmetics). Barrier of entry is less.
@Xvault2 I never said that. I just stated the price. If someone wants to purchase the game today, its $9.99 physical vs $69.99 digital on the PS Store.
@Xvault2 …..you didn’t post a screen? Also not sure if you’re 15 or whatever, but resorting to name calling actually does the opposite of what you think it does.
@Nick_Marseil@BennieCharlesM@mrpyo1 Agree Bennie - @Nick_Marseil’s looking through the lense of hopes and wants. Could easily spin this into how they can price games, utilize dynamic pricing more, evaluate PS plus subscription costs and implement new ways to gouge money out of their players via a closed ecosystem.
@Genki_JPN Talk all this bullshit but never address the ownership bs entitlement issue. The affordability argument is also laughable - yes, PS hardware will seemingly be more affordable than PC, but once you get into the game price comparison and open ecosystem, the narrative fails.
@xMBGx My brother in Christ, no. It’s not happening, and even if it does, why on Earth would you trust them going forward? This is inevitable- now or later. Bury the body and move on.
