THIS IS WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE WHEN YOU’RE SOUL SEARCHING !!!!
I recorded and mixed this album myself. I cried, I laughed, I felt every emotion. If you get the time really give it a listen. That’s a piece of my soul I just put out. I HOPE I MADE YALL PROUD.

Peace to @jermainedupri . My name is Dizzy Wright.
Around 2000, my mom brought me and my brother to meet with you about signing to your label. Long story short… you told us we weren’t ready.
You can see it in the photo. There wasn’t really anything “cool” about us. Just two poor kids trying to figure it out. Hell, my mom couldn’t even afford contacts at the time.
But that meeting changed my life. It was the first time somebody told me I wasn’t fit for the position. Not from a place of hate, just honesty and professionalism. You told us exactly what we needed to work on, and because of who you were in the music industry, we took every word seriously.
Fast forward to today… You might not even know who I am, but I’m one of the kids who didn’t get picked. I didn’t become Kris Kross. I got to become Dizzy Wright.
Over a billion streams later, a career built independently, and a fanbase that’s allowed me to travel the world doing what I love. I see your name in a lot of conversations these days, and I see you defending your legacy. I just wanted to publicly give you your flowers.
Because what you contributed goes way beyond the artists you signed. You inspired a whole generation of kids who heard “not yet” and turned it into motivation. People only know what they know. & Nobody knew this story until now.
So thank you for being honest with two kids who weren’t ready.
And if you need another No. 1 anytime soon…
Just know, I’m ready now. 🫡 - Gwalla
Damn… waited my whole life for that moment and never even got to touch the stage.
Everything got outta control backstage and at 9:30 I got asked to jump on stage and cut my whole set down to 2 songs with a hard stop at 10. That would’ve cut deep into Bone’s time after changeover.
Couldn’t let the legends go out like that, so I stepped back and let them have their moment.
That part hurts though… cause I really felt like I was gonna help tie the whole night together and make it special. I came early, took pics with fans, stayed ready for whatever… never thought I’d be the one getting cut from a show I cared that much about.
If you came to see me, I genuinely apologize we didn’t get that moment together.
Still love to Denver. Still grateful for the opportunity. Just being honest… the lack of professionalism in hip hop spaces can be disappointing sometimes. But I know how this game goes. Sometimes the moments you pray for don’t happen the way you imagined.
Lil me definitely hurt over this one lol but I know eventually it’ll turn into motivation.
Appreciate everybody that showed me love regardless. I’ll be back. 🤎
Australia 🇦🇺 thank you for embracing me.
Still crazy to me that independent music continues to take me around the world. Every city showed love and I felt it the entire tour.
To everybody that came to a show, shook my hand, shared your story, or told me what song helped you through life… thank you fr. Y’all put the battery back in my back.
Let’s run it back next year 🤞🏿
Look into my daughter’s eyes and then I get the… 🥹
Happy EarthStrong to the little girl that changed my life.
15 is INSANE… I might need to hit the gun range 😂 y’all pray for me.
Tech is still the biggest artist to ever take me on tour, forever grateful… might be time to run that back.
Been studying Bone Thugs-N-Harmony since I was a kid, and I’m still learning. Last night, I got to witness greatness.
Didn’t get a pic with the big homies from Cypress Hill, but the show was unreal… legendary energy all around.
I’m inspired again. Opportunities always come back around ✨
Found my Autographed @DizzyWright CD from way back when he had a concert in Jacksonville Fl, lol I used to play B.T.T. every day! That was my theme song 😂😂😂👌🏾
