Friendly reminder that on November 23rd, 2024, Jaxson Dart threw an interception vs Florida to seal the game, cried about it on the sideline, had the play overturned, then came back on the field with tears in his eyes to throw another one and cried some more
This pizza place in a small village outside of Paris sold a “New York” pizza with barbecue sauce, fried chicken, potatoes, fried onions, burger sauce(?), and pickles
Germany also, for some reason, sells “American hot dogs” in glass jars filled with water? not in the fridge?? i’ve literally never seen them like this in the US ever, this is a German invention.
steve toth ousting dan crenshaw is really just Woodlands-area guys who own pool cleaning businesses reclaiming their rightful place at the top of the food chain in exurban texas enclaves after briefly being usurped by the soy right deep state blob
@punished_kyle70@bigblackjacobin 5/ place. Far from it, but I think you’d be surprised at what the value of these tools actually is to a large software company.
@punished_kyle70@bigblackjacobin 4/ per headcount of experienced engineers.
I think AGI is a pipe dream and there’s a LOT that LLMs are bad at, but seeing people without extensive experience confidently proclaim that there’s no value or utility in these tools is short sighted. Its not making the world a better
@punished_kyle70@bigblackjacobin Anthropic could charge 5x their max subscription per head at a tech company and it would still be good ROI for the company. I think their pricing now is to get people acclimated to the tool to where they can’t/don’t want to work without it.
@punished_kyle70@bigblackjacobin I say this as someone with 10 years as a software engineer who uses these tools daily at work: $200/month is so obscenely cheap for the speed/productivity boost that Claude code provides. A senior engineer easily costs a big company over $200/hr when calculating for benefits, etc
@Blue_Orange_G8r Sumrall is “intense” and a “football psychopath” is the new Napier is “calculated” and has “meticulous attention to detail”. We’re just hiring a frat bro who maintained what Fritz built. But he gives good quotes and his Pat McAfee appearances will be so freaking epic 🤪🤪🤪
@RJ_cfb@CBSSports@emily_proud@bmarcello I don’t even hate hiring a non p4 HC! I would rather have hired Eric Morris, Will Stein, Collin Klein, Brian Hartline, Bob Chesney, Alex Golesh, James Franklin. Could probably think of another half dozen I would’ve chosen before Sumrall
@RJ_cfb@CBSSports@emily_proud@bmarcello Super uninspiring hire for Florida. Ignoring the Billy Napier comparisons which can feel lazy, he’s a defensive guy whose defenses have ranked 73rd and 69th (SP+) in his two years at Tulane with one of the better g6 rosters. I hope the buyout is cheap at least
