Two of the dumbest things happened in the past two episodes that completely tanked my enjoyment of the show

1.Rhaenyra learns Aemond is at Harrenhal without Vhagar

She finds out the biggest threat on the Green side is sitting at Harrenhal without his dragon

Why does she not tell Daemon

Caraxes could have been there in a few hours and ended the war before it got even worse

If not Daemon then send one of the other dragonriders

If not that then send an actual team of assassins

Instead she sends one man and Alicent who is easily the most valuable prisoner she has and one of the only pieces of leverage against the Greens

After a journey of hundreds of miles the assassin fails almost immediately

Then somehow Rhaenyra is angry at Daemon for keeping secrets even though she never told him any of this

2.Mysaria is the Mistress of Whisperers but does absolutely nothing

She has not solved a single problem this season

She does nothing about Ormunds agents

Nothing about the gold shortage

Nothing that actually makes her role matter

For someone whose entire purpose is gathering information she feels completely useless

Honorable mention

Rhaenas Nettles storyline is a straight downgrade from the books

The dragon fight looked cool but almost every major change from the source material has made the story worse and turned smart characters into idiots

And somehow none of this is as ridiculous as Rhaenyra sneaking into Kings Landing dressed as a nun last season
