@purpledatabank My issue with the "overproduction" on that song is that the awesome guitar lead line is almost buried in the mix. The keyboards are in the forefront and it nearly changes the feel of the song 😂

I know it's not for me to understand, but Prince's decision to release the heavily overdubbed mix of "Endorphinmachine" instead of earlier, more raw mix still perplexes me whenever I listen to either version...
