I always treat every dj job I get like it is my first. Show up at the beginning of the night, if possible. Greet the security, bar/wait staff and management/booking agent/owner. Then play my best set(s) keeping in mind the venue, party theme, and reading the crowd.
🚨 BREAKING:
In Season 1, Episode 2 of Law & Order: SVU, which aired in 1999, an Epstein file can be seen in the background.
Nothing in Hollywood is ever a coincidence...
Using flock cameras to watch a man drive from Wisconsin to a Michigan dispensary only to pull him over for possession when he got back home is so interesting to me when an estimated 460,000-600,000 children go missing in the US every year.
Holy shit... Wired reports that back in May, the U.S. Military was testing an experimental GPS jammer and and caused a civilian plane to crash into the side of a mountain, killing everyone on board.
In 2021, I discovered and recreated a mind-blowing physical privacy project: a custom baseball cap fitted with infrared diodes that can hide you from surveillance cameras (hello, Flock!).

In 1996, Tribe took a chance on a young, up-and-coming producer from Detroit and trusted him in helping shape the sound of their fourth studio album. And quite honestly, a lot of us weren't ready for it. And sonically, it ended up aging like fine wine.
Kavinsky became mainstream from Nightcall, but his real masterpiece is Testarossa (SebastiAn Remix) here in 2006 being played at I Love Techno by Justice at 2:39.
The whole set is legendary.
Today I learnt:
For the Sci-Fi Horror film 'Event Horizon' Sam Neill requested that the Australian flag on his character's uniform remove the Union Flag from the corner & for it to be replacedwith the Aboriginal flag, the way he thought it should look in 2047.
My husband’s friend works in a Walmart distribution center. She says it can get very hot in there. But they finally have some decent AC. Why? Because the robots that are there now require cool air to function. Fuck the humans but cater to the machines. What a disgrace.
