Yet another case of drug free T2 Diabetes remission🥳 He just stopped eating the foods that put up his blood sugar (yes carbs) Dramatic weight loss, no hunger as low carb stimulates NATURAL GLP-1 production Well done that guy!! @StevenBartlett@drchatterjeeuk
This is the third study showing a ketogenic or low carb diet may help with eating disorders. Previously some worried that restricting a food group (carbs) would make eating disorders worse I have not found this in clinical practice @BDA_Dietitians@BrownAdey
So in our UK NHS practice of the people with T2 Diabetes who chose to go low carb 50% achieve drug free T2D remission Basically they eat nutrient dense food that doesn’t put their blood sugar up and look at what also improved We published here https://t.co/MoDK29wd9B

BREAKING: For the first time in 11 years there are no more hostages in Gaza
Ran Gvili, the last Israeli hostage held in Gaza, has been brought home after Israel located his remains.
Staff Sgt. Ran (Rani) Gvili, 24, from Meitar, served as a YASSAM Negev fighter in the Southern District of the Israel Police.
On Oct. 7, while recovering at home from a motorcycle accident and a fractured shoulder, Gvili put on his uniform and went out to join the fighting following the terrorist infiltration. He engaged terrorists at the entrance to Kibbutz Alumim, where residents later referred to him as “the Defender of Alumim.”
Months later, assessments determined that after a prolonged battle and after exhausting his ammunition, Gvili was killed and abducted to Gaza.
He is survived by his parents, Talik and Itzik, and his siblings, Omri and Shira.
“The people of Iran are living through a nightmare. This is the worst mass murder in Iran’s contemporary history. Our beautiful country has become a cemetery in which the hopes of our youth are buried.”
Watch these powerful and urgent remarks — and a devastating story shared by Dr. Payam Akhavan, former UN legal advisor on war crimes tribunals, former Special Advisor on Genocide to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, and one of the world’s leading international human rights lawyers — speaking at the @UN_HRC. His words are a searing indictment of the violence facing Iranians today — and a warning the world cannot afford to ignore. #IranMassacre
Based on verification of images, reports and comparative investigative analysis by the International Centre for Human Rights, to date approximately 43,000 people have been killed, 350,000 injured, 20,000 arrested and await possible execution.
“Taken together, ICHR believes that this body of evidence, methods, and data presents a clear picture of a systematic and organized campaign of repression and mass killing; one that may silence the streets in the short term, but will not resolve the underlying crisis.
Silence by the international community in the face of such violent repression and crimes against humanity will only enable the repetition and escalation of these atrocities.”

Iranian forces killed well over 12 times as many as Hamas did on October 7, 2023.
It took two months for the death toll in Gaza to reach what Iran suffered in just two nights.
But who marches for the dead of Iran through the streets of Western capitals?
With @NatalieLisbona
While Iranians are being massacred, far too many people — who never seem to struggle to find their voices on other causes — have suddenly gone mute.
My colleague @AndyJehring and I laid it out today in the Mail. Read our devastating human testimony from Iran here:
