Wishing it was a regular FriYAY so I could pop into the SOC to find students coloring & Grad Assistants laughing, and have an end-of-week cold brew from Coffee Cats with @AlexaZaharris. Guess I’ll just put on my SOC socks and post this photo from earlier in the semester instead❤️

[Deirdre Kleist @DJKMDiv]

@AlexaZaharris We both miss you too!!! Get ready to take our caffeine & collaboration sessions to the virtual realm because I definitely still need them 👩🏼‍💻 ☕️

[Deirdre Kleist @DJKMDiv]

The remote office got up and running this morning, complete with André the fish who is missing his big tank at the Ministry Center but happy to still be engaged in the work of serving the students of SXU virtually.

Our week of local spring break service wrapped up yesterday with a trip to @FoodDepository where our team joined other volunteers in repacking 6230 pounds of pears to be distributed to food pantries across the county. Great end to a great week!

Please enjoy the very good dogs I had the pleasure of walking 🐶 🐾

[Deirdre Kleist @DJKMDiv]

Day 3 of local spring break service brought us to Chicago Canine Rescue. SXU students & staff members had a blast showing love to shelter dogs & taking them on walks around the neighborhood. Thank you to @CCR_pups for your hospitality & your important work!
