Why we're doing a free mint for Sleepagotchi's NFTs:

We debated this internally, but here's why we're confident it's the right move:

1) Community first. We want to give back to the people who believe in us from day one.
2) Maximize holder upside. As @LucaNetz says about @pudgypenguins – he wants holders to win. Free mint means zero entry cost and maximum potential returns. We want to create champions.
3) Strategic partnerships. A free mint makes it easier to partner with other projects and KOLs. Lower barrier = better reach.
4) Long-term revenue via royalties. NFT royalties are back – many OpenSea projects collect 5%. If we execute well, secondary market fees will outpace primary sales within months. Free mint = all buy pressure goes to secondary, benefiting holders AND the project.

Win-Win for the community and project is the best long-term strategy.
