Day 3 at the new job neck deep in a massive project, nearly 400 miles from home, deeply behind schedule & trying to hit an impossible deadline. The arcade industry is wild but this is the most fun I've had while getting paid in years. I got thrown in DEEP on this one.

Few matches before work. Immediately going for the rookie opener Ren vs Shion & Suzume vs Haru because I know my priories. GIVE ME THAT ROOKIE GOODNESS. I'm so glad I bought in day 1 on Haru. This kid is already so damn good & Ren in her first year is already in my S-tier #tjpw

@NOAHs_Savior I'm up in Michigan so our regional history died out earlier than most territories. Someone at a Chipotle recently asked me about WrestleMania while I was wearing a BJW shirt. I would kill for someone to splaine some lucha knowledge at me.

I'm so glad my exposure to wrestling has been almost entirely outside of that bubble. That specific bubbled fandom just radiates the same energy as a cold war propaganda campaign. There is so much richness, history & genre outside of that bubble current & past. It's just bizarre.

After this full restructure led by Okada they are beyond on fire. This company is back on track & is producing the best stuff I have seen in years. Feels like a golden age that isn't slowing down. It was never a talent issue. Corporate finally got out of the way & let them loose.

I can't get over this turn around I've had on Stardom. 2014 - 2019 they're flawed but my favorite promotion. I started cooling on them little before the BR purchased/COVID era. Those BR years have some big moments but I was in general very negative to the point I dropped them. >
