@tvenetico@SEHSBEACON I think rejection is one of the most important ways to develop character. It all depends on what each individual does next after rejection. Thank you Tony for the reminder.
@DuffNation_edu @MissHintzTigers Long book with complex characters including trees. The book is Overstory (fiction). Or it’s nonfiction twin - Finding the Mother Tree . I’ve been reading a lot of Hisiry myself. history
@carmelhealth@SurthrivEDU I think the key here it write just enough so the students ask you. The last 2 years I taught an asynchronous AP physics 1 class; feedback was the means I had of regular instruction.
@Mr_Miller_Sci I left a place I dearly loved - kids and peers after 15 years - but there was a toxic admin. I went to a new place - different opportunities. I had to learn and grow in new ways . I was there for 15 years. Now I’m retired. Deep growth needs change. Just thoughts.
@TomBredemeier @tvenetico Tom. I agree with no deadlines but I do believe that helping students to get to a place where they learn to establish their own deadlines is also an important skill that we all teach. Just thoughts
