VIDEO: State police will not replace Federal’s, IGP reassures officers

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has reassured officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force that the establishment of State Police will not lead to the dismantling or replacement of the existing federal police structure.

In a video online, Disu addressed concerns among police personnel, stressing that the introduction of State Police is not aimed at weakening the Federal Police but rather to complement the security architecture of the country.
