उत्तरी नेपाल में अचानक आई भीषण बाढ़ ने सीमावर्ती बस्तियों को भारी नुकसान पहुंचाया और निचले इलाकों के कई जिलों में हाई अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। बाढ़ सुबह करीब 9 बजे तिब्बत की दिशा से आती हुई भोटे कोशी नदी में उमड़ी।

नेपाली सेना ने एक बयान में कहा कि पानी के अचानक बढ़ने से रसुवा जिले के तिमुरे और पास के स्याफरुबेसी इलाके में भारी तबाही हुई है, जिसमें वाहन, सामान और अन्य संपत्ति बह गई है।

नेपाल के आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण और प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण ने रसुवा, नुवाकोट, धाडिंग, चितवन और गोरखा के नदी तटों के पास रहने वाले निवासियों से अगली सूचना तक हाई अलर्ट पर रहने और सुरक्षा उपाय करने का आग्रह किया है।

आज सुबह नेपाल के रसुवा इलाके में भोटे कोशी नदी में अचानक आई बाढ़ के बाद 384 पर्यटक लापता हो गए हैं, जिनमें 100 से ज़्यादा भारतीय शामिल हैं।

नेपाल टूरिज़्म बोर्ड (NTB) के मुताबिक, लापता हुए 384 पर्यटकों में 291 विदेशी नागरिक और 93 नेपाली नागरिक शामिल हैं।

भारतीय नौसेना के नौकायन प्रशिक्षण पोत आईएनएस सुदर्शनी ने लोकयान-26 समुद्री अभियान के तहत पुर्तगाल के लिस्बन में तीन दिन का पड़ाव पूरा किया।

@DefenceMinIndia ने कहा कि इस यात्रा से दोनों देशों की नौसेनाओं के बीच संस्थागत संबंध और आपसी समझ मजबूत हुई है। इस दौरान भारतीय नौसेना के प्रशिक्षुओं ने पुर्तगाली नौसेना अकादमी का दौरा किया और नौकायन कौशल तथा बड़े जहाजों के प्रशिक्षण पर विचार साझा किए। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि आईएनएस सुदर्शनी की पुर्तगाल यात्रा दोनों देशों के बीच मजबूत समुद्री सहयोग को दर्शाती है।

🇮🇳 स्वदेशी मिलिट्री कॉम्बैट पैराशूट सिस्टम (MCPS) का सफल परीक्षण!

@DRDO_India की Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE) द्वारा विकसित मिलिट्री कॉम्बैट पैराशूट सिस्टम (MCPS) का दुनिया के सबसे ऊँचे ड्रॉप ज़ोन में से एक लद्दाख में स्थित न्योमा के मुध ड्रॉप ज़ोन में सफल परीक्षण किया गया।
🔹 ADRDE की टेस्ट टीम ने 22,000 फीट की ऊँचाई से छलांग लगाई। उस समय तापमान −15°C था।
🔹 परीक्षण के दौरान स्वदेशी पैरा कंप्यूटर, ऑक्सीजन सिस्टम और जंपसूट सहित MCPS के सभी प्रमुख सिस्टम का इस्तेमाल किया गया।
🔹 20,000 फीट की ऊँचाई पर पैराशूट खोला गया और 13,700 फीट पर सुरक्षित लैंडिंग की गई।

यह सफल परीक्षण अत्यधिक ऊँचाई और कठिन मौसम में MCPS की विश्वसनीयता, प्रभावशीलता और सैन्य उपयोगिता को दर्शाता है।
यह उपलब्धि रक्षा क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर भारत और स्वदेशी तकनीक के प्रति देश की प्रतिबद्धता को और मजबूत करती है।

ADRDE test Jumpers Wg Cdr Rahul Jha, Chief Test Jumper, MWO R J Singh, VM(G), MWO Vivek Tiwari executed the jump from 22,000 feet AMSL, wherein the temperature was −15°C and utilised MCPS and all other sub-systems, including indigenous para computer, oxygen system & jumpsuits. The parachute was deployed at 20,000 ft, with a safe landing at 13,700 ft.

During the programme, technical presentations were made on the initiatives being supported under RAMP by the Ministry of MSME.
