@NeilMilliken Metrics like employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction can be tracked, but the real ROI lies in the deepening of trust and the tangible improvements in the lived experiences of employees—especially #disabled employees. #AXSChat
@NeilMilliken Encourage authentic sharing w/confidential feedback channels, peer support groups & private check-ins. Not all thoughts need broadcasting. Foster a culture of equitable access, trust, and empathy-led leadership where #disabled employees feel safe and reap the benefits. #AXSChat
@debraruh Open communication is not a barrier to productivity; it enhances it by creating a supportive culture where team members can contribute their best work. When #accessible dialogue is prioritized, innovation, productivity, and trust soar. Try it. #AXSChat
@NeilMilliken There's a distinct difference when leaders exhibit vulnerability compared to team members. When leaders are open about their experiences/mistakes —it sets a tone that authenticity is valued. It creates a culture where it's encouraged to bring one’s full self to work. #AXSChat
@NeilMilliken@rlpb110 That's what I mean when I say, "empathetic listening, & feedback with accountability." And empower all employees, including #disabled and older employees, to lead and build trust through real and meaningful action.
Barriers to authentic communication for #disabled employees include inaccessible tools, stigma, & a lack of inclusive culture. Without openness, trust erodes, isolation grows, & creativity suffers. Disability justice demands that all voices are valued & heard. #AXSChat
Q1 What are some common barriers to authentic communication in the workplace, and what are the impacts when people feel that they cannot be open? #AXSChat
I have dedicated my life to making sure Pennsylvanians’ voices are heard, whether on the floor of the Senate or in a free and fair election. It has been made clear there are more than 100,000 votes still to be counted. Pennsylvania is where our democratic process was born. We must allow that process to play out and ensure that every vote that is eligible to be counted will be counted. That is what Pennsylvania deserves.
Something you may not know: religious institutions like churches are exempt from the Americans with Disabilities Act. But 20 percent of all polling places are in religious institutions, meaning many people with disabilities are denied the right to vote https://t.co/ftoHyZWNmg
