You’ve probably seen this image being shared. I could be one of his victims. I hope not… but we’ll wait and see. For this story we’ll call him DICK HEAD. I was on Grindr about 8 weeks ago and this Cook Island guy was online, yep you know it. My type. 😅🤦‍♂️🥴 DICK HEAD seemed charming, humble and genuine. Just the sort of guy I would be most attracted to. I’ve been on the apps for the past 4 months after a 5 year relationship ended and even though this account looks like I’m some sort of “hoe life memoirs” I’ve spent 95% of my life either in a committed relationship or as a Christian being as commandment abiding as possible. 👀 So yeh, the last few months have been tricky, and yep, I’ve been on the apps as a distraction from it all. Now I’m not going to say I’m some vulnerable victim, I knew what I was doing and I consented to it… well almost all of it. When someone tells you that they haven’t slept with anyone for 9 months, and they are still “quite new to this all”, acting very humble, genuine and kind, it would never have occurred to me that I’m about to sleep with someone HIV positive who not only didn’t mention that… but also let me take the condom off when it was apparent that he was too tight and this was causing a bit of a barrier for sex. (Which wouldn’t have been a problem if I just had some lube and not just spit 🙄🫣😅) So yeh, we did it. I didn’t think I had anything to worry about, DICK HEAD seemed like such a nice guy and I was super attracted to his tight ass and muscular body. Yeh, I knew that HIV was possible in the gay world, but also I thought a condom was the answer to everything (which is kinda is)… AND I thought most bottoms are on PREP, so it was probably OK if it broke or whatever… or I was just being horny and dumb. This time was different. I didn’t use that condom, as it seemed to be preventing us from having sex… because yup, DICK HEAD was pretty tight, and no boasting but, I’m a pretty decent size, it’s just the reality of it. So the first time I had sex with someone where I wasn’t wearing a condom, they weren’t on PREP, just happened to be the time I say to myself… it’s OK, because he’s not had sex in 9 months, that’s what he’s told me…. I fucked DICK HEAD who fully knew they were not only HIV positive, but from the screenshot text messages I have read from others,HE ALSO HAS NOT CHOSEN NOT TO TAKE MEDS TO PREVENT THE SPREAD AND WHEN CONFRONTED SAYS… “IT’S NOT A BIG DEAL” Now I do not want any harm to come to DICK HEAD, they need help, they’re not right in the head. I really didn’t want to post this, but I feel like I don’t have a choice. DO NOT BE LIKE ME…. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE AT THEIR WORD. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE BUT YOURSELF. NO. MATTER. HOW. HORNY. YOU. ARE! I have had two HIV tests in the last 90 days and both have come back negative… so I’m the clear SO FAR. But this has been a scary week. But why wasn’t I on PREP? So I didn’t grow up learning about gay sex and honestly my knowledge of the whole thing is pretty basic. A lot of SHAME around this stuff for me. Even though medicine has progressed a lot since the 1980’s and people like this “DICK HEAD” above could be living a normal life with ZERO % transmission rate and have normal sex with ZERO % chance of passing it on. DICK HEAD chose to act illegally and irresponsibly. In the 1980’s 6.4 million people died from HIV infection resulting in AIDS. After this all came out about this guy one phrase stuck in my mind, and it’s so true. Don’t do what I did. Don’t be unprepared and “Fuck about to find out” Advice in the comments…
