B2K giving us wholesome teenaged music when we were young and yall growing up to call them corny and say their music didn't age well is the reason the kids don't have any age appropriate music today.
Th I'm here for this sequel, however, I'm also here for a new story/franchise
featuring Nia Long and Ice Cube. While Hollywood is playing it safe, here's what I came up with in less than 30 minutes.
Let's call this new franchise
DETOUR
Disclaimer: The story isn’t fully flushed out.
Working Logline: In effort to renew their marriage after a tumultuous year, a husband books a South African cruise that starts off perfect but takes a chaotic turn when the couple gets left in Capetown.
It would’ve been nice if one of these streamers and/or networks put together a Juneteenth special/telethon to raise funds and awareness
So many Black people, especially Black women have been affected by corporate layoffs and in need of help. But they rather use us for views
Happy Juneteenth! ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
& Remember..
The RBG aka Pan African flag doesn’t relate to the Juneteenth flag. They’re two different flags with two different meanings…
The Juneteenth flag specifically celebrates the abolition of chattel slavery for enslaved people from Galveston, Texas. Which became a tradition for many Black Texans to celebrate for decades.
The RBG flag aka the Pan African flag, is meant to celebrate unity for all Black people across the world.
Both flags represent great symbols of pride & freedom, but I think it’s okay to highlight specifically the Juneteenth flag on the forefront for its actual purpose.
