Otherwise NO.
600 coins in the paid one is not enough to buy another one, that means you have to spend money every season.

For example, I never spent a dollar in the game (well I bought ow1).
But still, without grind challenges, I still ended up having enough coins to buy battle pass (the Moira one), and now I have coins for another.
