SMU didn’t get the death penalty because they were the only school paying players.
They got the death penalty because they started taking players the blue bloods believed belonged to them.
Now Texas Tech figured out how to legally take those same players and the entire sport is having a nervous breakdown.
We’re being blamed for Brendan Sorsby’s Cincinnati contract and he never played a snap in Lubbock 😂
You don’t hate NIL.
You hate that Texas Tech stopped knowing its place.
Cope.
Texas Tech got fined for tortillas, then tortillas were banned. OSU's paddles broke a noisemaker rule and has a "tradition" exemption. Sorsby never played a snap for Texas Tech but you sued them anyway while Cincinnati hasn't been touched.
With all the vitriol that was sent Texas Tech’s way the last week, this should be topic #1 amongst all within CFB media. Cincinnati knew their starting QB was a prolific gambler for two seasons and did nothing about it
“Universities should not field players who have bet on their own team’s games in college athletics”
There’s only one school in this conference that has done so, and that school is not named Texas Tech 🤔
Can you imagine being the first person to hear about the ufc fights on the White House?
“Mr. President how would you like to celebrate your 80th birthday?”
Trump-“ Bring the baddest mfers in the world and make them fight on my lawn”
Reminder half the teams crying about Sorsby would’ve taken him in the portal yesterday if he entered.
Nobody actually cares about the gambling. They care that Texas Tech got him back.

The least surprising news of all time is that Texas Tech is vilified because of a judge’s ruling in the Sorsby case.
The only issue is Texas Tech did not step one toe out of line in the entire process.
