Hey guys I know Iโve been a bit inactive on here. Quick update, I worked for the NASCAR Racing Experience in Daytona this summer, and along with the job I got to take a stock car around the speedway for the first time in my life ๐๐พ
Hopefully big things are happening this year, Dad and I are saving up $$$ so Iโm mainly looking at trying to run legends cars or get my SCCA license and go from there
Had another practice day at Homestead in the LO206 kart on Jan 3rd. Felt good to be back on the racetrack IRL after whatโs felt like forever, GoPro rules changed so unfortunately no on track footage
@emyiaa06 @Crackpotdog014 @ArmyCoachChad @GOWENYT@MikeStrawMedia Season Mode is technically starting where you want, I'm pretty sure it's for all three series as well
Iโm 29 years old, and my entire time driving itโs been all about youth.
Itโs engraved in our heads that if you donโt โmake itโ by your early 20s, then a career driving isnโt attainable
I think that landscape is changing. Young drivers out there who may not have the $$, do not get discouraged.
Jack Sprague was a successful short track racer who made a career in the truck series from age 30-46. He won 25+ races in that span and 3 championships.
If you can hang on and continue racing until you can find some financial support, you can make it at any age! Thatโs motivation for me, I hope it is for you all too ๐ช๐ป
@cowden_dalton84@gherschel_ People use the front bumper in real life too lol there's an example of a Cup driver pulling off a VERY egregious move that I don't think I've seen the Coke guys even do. As long guys aren't being outright dumped, it's still professional (to the standards of real life at least)
@Justsendit365@55sauce1@Rayzecornbred @ZilischMyPookie @aeroplanejellyy Lol that Venturini equipment is right up there with JGR. They're the only ones winning the races besides Zillich (he's the next coming of KB/Joey Logano so makes sense he's able to beat them)
@55sauce1@Rayzecornbred @ZilischMyPookie @aeroplanejellyy Him and his Venturini teammates were clearly very hellbent on being extra dirty to Sawalich, I watched most of those races in their entirety. Not to mention that whole thing with him and Sammy Smith proved how spoil he acts (or used to)
@55sauce1@Rayzecornbred @ZilischMyPookie @aeroplanejellyy And he's still trying to shake off his bad reputation from ARCA lol some of us haven't forgotten
@xJJdriver1x @nascarissodumb @dabfordale I didn't even see him name drop Dillon, I just saw Corey's name involved and I'm like okay wait, Harrison isn't that bad lol obviously Dillon is better in overall stats
