This is what raw speed and power look like in a young junior golfer who has been speed training and putting work in on the golf course and gym all summer!

Sometimes we see students with a flying elbow or too much "lift" with their hands in the golf swing. We used the "Smart Ball" from Tour Striker Golf to help student William use more of his big muscles in his golf swing and hit better shots.

One of the most important things we can do as coaches is guie players down the path of improvement.

As one is changing their golf swing, rehearsals are an important way to ingrain new habits while slowly eliminating the bad ones.

While all our coaches have dedicated their career to helping young juniors improve their game, it's always a pleasure for us to have the chance to tee it up during a playing lesson and show the students...we still got it!

It's most important to keep golf fun for the little ones! Here is six year old Elliot crushing this putting game. By creating fun obstacle courses like this, we can work on his touch and feel while still having a FUN competition 😃

Throwback to earlier this summer during one of our practice rounds with student Freddy Sun, always a pleasure to follow Freddy around the golf course! He blasts drives 300+ yards and follows it up with precision wedge shots like this one. How is your drive and wedge game?

Andrew demonstrating the right tempo in the backswing with a driver. One of the most common mistakes we see with amateurs is a tendency to take the driver back too fast with the hands and not allow the body to make a full turn #golf #golfswing

Love this angle of @sun.freddy striping another solid tee shot! We love taking our students out on the course for playing lessons, always great to see the hard work in the studio translate into great swing on the golf course 💪

Love this position in the downswing! Which pro's swing does this remind you of? 😀

Sergio?
Ernie?
Scott?
Wie?

Love seeing juniors hit their positions and execute well on the golf course ⛳

It's been 2 years since golf fans have been able to watch the oldest championship in golf! It's so good to see the world returning to normal and golf's Open Championship return! Who do you think will bring home the Claret Jug this year? #BritishOpen

What a great combination of speed and balance in this young girl's swing! Wow we are so proud of the progress our Pacific Golf Academy students are making this summer. You can swing the club as fast as you want, as long as you can finish in a balanced position #golf

Behind the scenes look today of @hudgimbus3 working with one of our junior students. It's so important to show junior the right positions in the golf swing, let them rehearse those positions, and build long term habits in their golf swing. #golfcoach

We were chasing daylight with Harley at the beautiful @langaraproshop Harley has been making some big strides in his golf swing all season long, great to see it translate to confident swings on the course 💪

“To look outside the box of what is possible, what is normal, what’s acceptable, and to adapt to me, for the first time ever, was truly remarkable.” #FittingMatters

Pacific Coach @hudgimbus3 helping one of our young students dial in their swing. The most important thing we focus on at this age is proper fundamentals:

✅ Good Grip
✅ Good Setup
✅ Good Speed
✅ Balanced Finish

The old pro still has it! Pacific Coach @daryl.stubbs showing our students how it's done during a recent playing lesson. Listen to the sound of this long iron.

The weather has been recording blazing hot 🔥 here in British Columbia, but so has our student's golf swings...here is 9 year old student Emily, showing what a powerful and balanced golf swing looks like. Great progress Emily!

We are beyond grateful for our country 🇨🇦

We are beyond grateful for our sport ⛳

Now let's celebrate both things we love and play some golf on Canada Day! 😃

Happy Holidays to our entire Pacific Golf Academy Family
