I can quite literally say “karmelo Anthony should be taken out front of the courthouse and hung as punishment for his crime.” “Karmelo Anthony should be shot multiple time by a firing squad for his crime.” All that is legal 1st amendment speech. If I make a statement saying “If the jury doesn’t find him guilty, I’ll handle him myself” (as it’s alleged Lang said) then yes that is illegal and not protected speech. Thus why context matters.
